Bread, pastry, savory, cake

Bread

The official menu and Eater identify baguettes and French loaf bread; baguette slices also accompany breakfast plates and baguettes form the café's panini base.

Pastry

Daily French-style viennoiserie and pâtisserie include croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissants, palmiers, apple and raspberry turnovers, Danish, brioche, macarons, cream puffs, éclairs, mousse desserts, and fruit tarts. The menu warns pastries and desserts sell out daily.

Savory

A full sit-down menu goes beyond the pastry case with omelets, quiche, sweet and savory crêpes, eggs Benedict, breakfast croissants, French toast, baguette sandwiches, panini, soups, salads, and entrées.

Cake

The daily case includes strawberry shortcake plus strawberry-chocolate, chocolate, and raspberry-chocolate mousse cakes. Arely's also accepts wedding, quinceañera, and themed custom cakes, and can coordinate wedding-cake delivery, setup, staging, and dessert bars.

Order ahead

Online ordering is available for eligible menu items. Daily cakes should be confirmed by phone; custom cake inquiries are first come, first served and may book out.

Walk in

Walk-ins can buy pastries, desserts, and available daily cakes; the cakes page says to call for current cake availability.

Custom orders

Submit the inquiry form or call (858) 270 to 1910. The form alone is not an order: a 50% deposit confirms it. Arely's requests one full week's notice for custom cakes and allows 1 to 3 business days for inquiry replies; certain daily-cake size or design changes require at least 24 hours.

The bakery sits in a Clairemont commercial center with a shared surface parking lot; spaces are not reserved for Arely's and availability can tighten at busy meal times.
