What people go for here

Casa Del Lobo is a design focused coffee stop where Genteel espresso and seasonal house syrups sit inside a Mexican ceramics showroom. The loft and outdoor seating drew a positive first impression, but the shop is still too new for recurring customer consensus.

  • Genteel Coffee espresso drinks

Worth knowing: The café is too new for recurring item, service, crowd, or noise consensus. Planned breakfast burritos, panini, and natural wine were future intentions, not current-menu facts.

The coffee

New specialty café and Mexican ceramics showroom using San Diego’s Genteel Coffee, with traditional espresso drinks and rotating seasonal house-made syrups.

Early branch-specific coverage identifies Genteel Coffee beans and a traditional menu of lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos. Four opening syrups, vanilla, lavender, orange blossom, and brown sugar cinnamon, were made in house and are intended to change seasonally. Origin, process, roast profile, manual methods, and decaf have not yet been published, appropriate caution for a shop days into operation.

The room

A homey retail-café layered with Mexican large-format ceramics and specialty glazes, plus an upstairs loft and outdoor seating; urban Mexico City references meet beach-neighborhood light.

A new, small-format coffee counter within a home-goods/ceramics retail concept; closed Mondays and currently closes at 1:00 p.m.

Working here

Coffee-first / social

An upstairs loft and outdoor seating provide real places to pause. The 1 p. m. close limits dwell time, and the ceramics showroom encourages browsing. Choose it for a short morning visit rather than dependable deep work.
